Shield
Yellow and green are the colors used for Armor. The red background and blue fimbriated saltire were suggested by the flag of the State of Georgia and designate the home of the organization. The gauntlet is symbolic of the force and effectiveness of Armor, and it also reflects the unit's motto.

The crest is that of the Georgia Army National Guard.
The coat of arms was approved on 19 October 1970.
